Prayers that change your world
Before you pray, listen. You may find you have been praying for the wrong things.
Do you want to see more prayers answered? Are you frustrated with situations around that you know need change?
The Bible teaches that the Holy Spirit in us ‘knows the mind of God.’ (1 Cor 2:11) It also teaches that ‘nothing can thwart the purposes of God.’ (Is 14:27)
So before you pray, spend time with the Holy Spirit. Ask him what to pray about for your family, for your work, and for any area that you’re involved in. You’ll find yourself praying more and more in the ‘plans of God,’ praying into being the very things HE is doing in the lives of the people around you. It’ll be so much more than you thought. Is there anything too hard for the Lord? (Jer 32.27).
